This course will guide you through a variety of hand-building techniques and throwing on the wheel. You will also learn to decorate your pottery using slips and underglazes, and a range of dipping glazes during the final session.
It is suitable for beginners and those with some experience of pottery. This is a small studio so there will be a maximum of 6 people on the course. With 3 wheels in the studio you will be able to spend around half of your time throwing, balanced with time working on hand-building projects. Clay, glaze and kiln firing is all included in the course fee. Aprons will be provided but you may also want to wear warm, old clothes.

6-9pm Tuesday evenings - 4, 11, 18, 25 August
This course is 4 weeks but with longer sessions of 3 hours (so overall this is the same number of hours as my 6 week course).
