I’m Siobhan, a potter specialising in wheel-thrown domestic stoneware. I work from Earthrise Pottery Studio in Worcester, where I make my ceramics and teach pottery workshops.

I’ve been making pottery for over ten years, having previously studied Fine Art at Central Saint Martins. I’m a member of the Worcestershire and Gloucestershire Guilds of Craftsmen, my work has been featured in Country Living Modern Rustic, and I was the recipient of the Alan Knight Award in 2026.

Sustainability has become an increasingly important part of my practice. I develop my own simple glazes, exploring ways to reduce reliance on mined colouring oxides and experimenting with waste and locally sourced materials, including plant and wood ash and eggshells. I fire my ceramics in a renewably powered electric kiln.

I’m interested in making useful, beautiful objects that bring a little more slowness and connection to everyday life.
